1. Prepare and submit a budget for up to 12 issues per year to the Treasurer by end of the fiscal year.
2. Be responsible for editing, printing, and mailing the newsletter. Mailing duties may be shared.
3. Collect, edit, and compile articles and information from Chapter Officers, Coordinators, and members.
4. Various deadlines may be set based on the schedule of the editor, the time required for printing, pick-up and process time, and actual mail delivery time.
5. CONTENT: Information in the newsletter is based upon certain basic monthly inclusions.
A. A list of Officers and their phone numbers.
B. Upcoming Guild meetings.
C. Calendar of upcoming local organ recitals: Guild-sponsored, Guild member's recitals, or other music and worship events.
D. Column from the Dean and Sub-Dean.
E. Open church position listings.
F. Coordinator reports.
G. News of special projects within the chapter.
H. Yearbook Updates
I. Editor has the authority to determine content with the understanding that he/she works in consultation with the Board. Practical considerations include space limitations, timeliness of material and priorities set by the Board.
J. Each edition will include the official disclaimer: "Articles, features, or advertisements in THE PIPELINE do not necessarily represent the views and/ or endorsements of the Central Arizona Chapter of The American Guild of Organists. They are printed as submitted, with minimal editing, as space permits."
